金村修は、2019年のNew York Art Book Fairに出品した「Radical Hybrid」以降、自身の写真や校正原稿、雑誌、チラシ、新聞などさまざまな要素を取り入れた、ハンドメイドブックの制作を行なってきました。この制作には、アナログ／デジタル、モノクロ／カラーといった二項対立によるアプローチからでは迫れない物質的映像への試みが垣間見えます。
本写真集の制作プロセスは、金村が制作したハンドメイドブック「Landscape Suicide」を写真家の篠田優が複写を行ない、そのネガフィルムを金村がプリントするというプロセスを経て作られています。美術において20世紀最大の発明と言われる「コラージュ」と複写を始めとした「著作権」、その両方をメディウムとして表現に昇華させる取り組みです。

Since "Radical Hybrid," which was exhibited at the 2019 New York Art Book Fair, KANEMURA Osamu has been producing handmade books incorporating various elements such as his own photographs, proofs, magazines, flyers, and newspapers. In this production, there are glimpses of his attempts to create material images that cannot be approached through a binary approach of analog/digital or black-and-white/color.
The production process of this book was based on the handmade book "Landscape Suicide" created by KANEMURA, which was copied by photographer SHINODA Yu, and the negative film was printed by KANEMURA. This is an effort to sublimate both "collage," which is said to be the greatest invention of the 20th century in the field of art, and "copyright," including photocopying, into expression as mediums.

自2019年纽约艺术书展上展出的 "激进的混合体 "以来，金村修一直在制作手工书，将自己的照片、样张、杂志、传单、报纸等各种元素融入其中。在这个作品中，可以窥见他试图创造出不能通过模拟/数字或黑白/彩色的二元方法来处理的物质图像。
这本书的制作过程是以金村创作的手工书《风景自杀》为基础，由摄影师筱田正治复制，底片由金村印刷。这是将 "拼贴"（据说是20世纪艺术领域最伟大的发明）和 "版权"（包括复印）都升华为表达媒介的努力。
